Captain Jose Ramon ( has been in our fleet since the year 2000. He is an excellent and valued captain by our fleet and anglers alike. His favorite fish to catch and release is Striped Marlin. In 2018 and 2019 he won Top Billfish Release Captain for Pisces with over 870 Marlin released in the year. His largest fish caught to date was an 787 lbs Blue, as well as a 462 lbs Black Marlin. In his spare time he likes to hunt for rabbit, deer or hogs in the mountains nearby to Cabo and tend to his Ranch. He loves spending time with his family and fishing from shore as well.

Marcelo has been fishing since he can remember. His family are all fishermen, and he practically grew up on the water. He recalls being 10 years old learning the craft along with his cousins and uncles and “the rest is history”. He has been a professional fisherman for nearly 13 years now. 

Marcelo has a kind and soft demeanor, and somewhat reserved, but is always eager to spot and catch fish. He has great eyes on the water, and one of his specialties is sight casting live bait to land Marlin. He also loves Yellowfin Tuna fishing and has experience with many different techniques, including Kite fishing. On deck he is organized, clean and disciplined. He speaks some English.
