1st Mate Francisco Arturo Montelongo was born in Guerrero Negro, Baja California Sur. He began fishing at the very young age of 7 under the care and teaching of his father.  

At the age of 12 they moved to Cabo San Lucas and began working professionally in Sportfishing in his teenage years. This is where he says he “fell in love with this beautiful sportfishing job, taking it as part of his life and not only as a profession”. The speaks English well.

He loves fishing with live bait for Marlin, and Kite fishing for Yellowfin Tuna. He always enjoys learning new and different fishing techniques. Mate Arturo has a lot of energy, he is outgoing and fun and enjoys helping anglers catch their target species.
