Mick was built in 2007 and is a fantastic yacht for spending a day on the water. The design and layout is very thoughtful, with large spaces for spending time with your group. The salon is panelled with Burmese teak and the plush carpet is a delight to walk on. The salon offers comfortable seating whilst you relax or watch a game on the pop up flat screen T.V, the salon flows into the galley, which has a sit up bar where you can watch the staff prepare a tasty snack or meal. The galley is has granite countertops and a practical layout which includes, microwave, convection oven, stove, dual dishwashers, trash compactor, three refrigerators and a freezer. The open floor plan extends from the galley to the one of the two captain’s stations, which also has a dinette with seating for six. Closed circuit T.V allows you to see what is going on outside the yacht, an important safety feature, especially with children aboard. The master stateroom has a king size bed with designer bedding, luxuriously cozy; satellite T.V, full bathroom finished in red granite. The second cabin has twin beds and is cheerfully decorated, TV and DVD plus bathroom “en suite". The VIP cabin has a queen size bed and large bathroom with plenty of light, full shower and many decorative touches. Steps lead from the salon to the upper deck which is large and open. The captain usually operates the boat from this fly bridge area, where there is an L shaped dinette, which is shaded, as well as lounge chairs for sunbathing. Stairs leading down from the oversize fly bridge bring you to the California deck, set up with a table and seating for four, shaded but overlooking the fishing area. There is a built in barbecue if you want to try your fish really fresh. Mick has a dive compressor as well as ice maker, water maker, air conditioning throughout, I Pod plug in, DVD, satellite T.V, radar, sonar, GPS and Nav Net. What makes the Mick really special is her crew; Jim and Carolyn Lilly are experienced seamen, with Jim holding a 100 ton license, he is familiar with every aspect of his vessel and the seas. Spending many years as a long range captain, gave him incredible fishing skills and made him resourceful in resolving any problem at sea. You know you are in capable and safe hands with Jim Lilly. Jim’s most endearing characteristic is his wonderful personality, you cannot find a more likeable or well-mannered person. He will make you laugh with his positive outlook on nearly every situation. Carolyn is Jim’s wife of 26 years and they work together effortlessly. Carolyn welcomes you aboard in her own warm manner and immediately puts you at ease and attends to your every need, she also holds her own as an accomplished chef. Deckhand Jorge comes from a local fishing family and rounds out this crew. Those chartering Mick are never disappointed.

Booking Information

Gratuities are not included with either package and are suggested at 10-15% of the charter cost. All rates are subject to sales tax.

All Inclusive consists of: Fishing licenses, ice, crew, fuel, tackle, 10 live bait*, breakfast & lunch on full days, breakfast OR lunch on half days, appetizers on sunset cruises, soft drinks, beer and house wines.

Bare Boat consists of: ice, crew, fuel, tackle.

Cost of items which can be added to bare boat charters:
Fishing licenses: $13.00 per person, Live Bait $30.00 for 10 baits, Box Lunches $12.00
Beverages $1.00 each, freezing and filleting of catch varies according to size of fish, $1.50 to $20.00.

Fishing day is approximately 8 hours: 6.30-7.00 am to 2.00-3.00pm, custom departure time can be arranged.
