Shambala
Shambala is a well maintained vessel with 3412 Caterpillar Turbo engines allowing for a top speed of 32 knots. The entire interior is finished in cherry wood. The salon is comfortable with an “L” shaped Italian leather seating arrangement, dinette for six, complete galley with trash compactor, two refrigerators , two freezers, Direct T.V that functions even whilst at sea, both on the bridge and down below, Sirrus Radio, DVD, VHS, CD player, I Pod plug in so you can bring your favorite tunes . The master stateroom has a queen size bed, with bathroom en suite with a shower/tub and Direct TV. The VIP guest stateroom has a double bed, own bathroom and T.V with VCR. The third stateroom can be used for guests or as crews quarters, own bathroom with shower; washer and dryer also aboard. A large and comfy cushion is ideal for sunbathing, a big plus when lady guests come along. Two bait tanks are located in the cockpit, plus another on the bow of the boat for a capacity of 250 baits, when needed, nine tuna tubes make sure you never run out of large bait when necessary. The cockpit has an icemaker for keeping your fish cool in the hold, plus a tackle center with a selection of 500 lures. Two GPS, side scanning sonar, water maker, two generators, tuna tower. The bridge is large with ample, shaded seating for guests to spend time up top. Fishing equipment ranges from spinning gear for light tackle to 100 lb tackle and Penn Internationals, plus kites and a downrigger. What is so special about this vessel is the captain; T.J Dobson who is originally from Oklahoma but moved to Cabo when he was a teenager and has been fishing every since. Now a Mexican citizen he still has a charming Midwestern drawl and is highly esteemed as one of the best fisherman in Cabo by both his American and Mexican counterparts, which is saying a lot. T.J has fished from Hawaii to Panama and has placed ten times in tournaments both in Mexico and Hawaii. His largest marlin to date is a 862 lb blue caught in Kona, his largest tuna 318 lbs, he also has a 420 lb swordfish and two wahoo over 100 lbs. T.J was the winning captain in the 2008 Tuna Tournament. T.J loves to fish pitch baits and his record number of striped marlin in one day is 60, at the Finger Banks. T.J is easy going and pleasant to be around.

Gratuities are not included with either package and are suggested at 10-15% of the charter cost. All rates are subject to sales tax.
All Inclusive consists of: Fishing licenses, ice, crew, fuel, tackle, 10 live bait*, box lunches, 24 beverages, coffee and sweet rolls before departure, freezing and filleting of catch.
Bare Boat consists of: ice, crew, fuel, tackle, coffee and sweet rolls before departure.
Cost of items which can be added to bare boat charters:
Fishing licenses: $13.00 per person, Live Bait $30.00 for 10 baits, Box Lunches $12.00
Beverages $1.00 each, freezing and filleting of catch varies according to size of fish, $1.50 to $20.00.
Fishing day is approximately 8 hours: 6.30-7.00 am to 2.00-3.00pm, custom departure time can be arranged.
